Forgive me if I am off but I also felt the same with the heat wave. We literally had 1,000 people die from it in 48 hours and the messaging was minimal at BEST. Wtf is wrong with these civil servants? They are completely underestimating the gravity of the situation we find ourselves in.

Before and during the heatwave I was watching Komo news and I’m like wow look how prepared they are and how serious they are taking this. BC, Vancouver in particular, or the Lower Mainland is so incompetent at everything, it mind numbing. Nothing will come of this, nobody will be held responsible. It's a complete joke and people should be fired for this.
