Coldest run I’ve seen but quite far off. Definitely will be a fascinating few days here.

Are we all back for model watching and E L Pineapples model bashing which ends up in arguments and throwing members under the bus. Hopefully it's more entertaining than the sad sack Knuckles.

Just took a few runs to completely do away with any troughing and GOA amplification and revert back to a split flow/ridging solution within 10 days. Barely any mountain snow and bone dry.

Image

Really doubt we shake off this pattern through March now. Anything between 10-15 days is flawed data.

Probably will take a SSW episode to drive cold down here. March is probably the time period assuming the PV gets nuked in the next 2 weeks.

Haven't had much time to follow the models over the last few days.

At least it's been a great past couple weeks with chilly nights that have helped racked up our freeze counts for the season.

Yeah, that's about it Tfrost but you were ahead of the central valley in the frost count until we got our act together afew weeks ago. So you win that derby as for the models continually kicking the can down the road it's pretty much done this winter. IMO
