Talked to a Winnipeger at my son's wedding and he said they get thunderstorms at least once a week . So whoever wants to move Winterpeg for the cold and snow and Summerpeg for the thunderstorms.

That must have just gone up, it wasn't there earlier today and I checked! Might have to downgrade this summer. It looks exactly like last week Tues & Wedn 29c. Wedn last week was much cooler only reached 27 if I remember rightly.

BlackBerry season way behind last year's schedule around here , still alot of unripened(green)blackberries.

Everything is late this year. Some of the blackberries are still just flowering, though I did see that last year too.

I must say , I find the use of the word garbage to describe Vancouver's beautiful summers a wee bit harsh. If someone was to walk around Vancouver with a mic and asked 100 or even a 1000 random people to describe the last 2 summers with one word I don't think anybody would choose that word or an equivalent like trash or disgusting.

It is such a subjective question and depends largely on your meteorological preferences. Of course I realize that many enjoy our summers and I am genuinely happy for them. However, I do stand by my assessment, but it is only true for me. I don’t speak for anyone else.

You could quite conceivably say that about the Similkameeeeeeeens but at least in Winterypeg you have a hockey team football team Tims Mcdees and a store.
