Looks like Halifax and Yarmouth have set new record low wind chills tonight. -42c and -38c respectively. :o

Historic arctic blast for the east coast for sure!

For context, the equivalent would be YVR seeing a windchill around -30c, as the record is -28c.

I haven't checked are they expecting a rapid warm up which wouldn't be good for frozen infrastructure pipes, roads etc.
