A little bit of accumulations on the grass and roofs here in Newton.

With El Nino coming up next year is a seasons pass at Cypress a bad idea? Is there new guidance pointing towards El Nino? The Jan 13 data suggests anything can happen.

This never really looked good for snow. I don't think you can call this a bust.

I've just gotten home and it looks like we just lost enough solar heating for the snow to (very slowly) dust car tops and grassy surfaces.

There’s still the remains of an earlier dusting on the ground here. Was just cold drizzle when I arrived home but it’s back to wet flakes for now.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I would never gamble on an El Nino. Ridgy or mild rains are too common.

Ah. Would it be inaccurate to tally 0.5 cm for the day so I can sit at 69?

Heavy mist/light drizzle here. Yay??
No..the fire pit is 36" lodged with wood.

Light snow here in Willoughby..slight dusting. Maybe 2 to 3 mm? Snow looks kinda dry, icy yet wet. Def sloppy.
Sad we couldn't get hammmmmmerd with snow this morning. Even 3cm woulda looked nice. O well.
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)
