Yes, rubber ages and gradually loses its traction. I don’t drive a whole lot, and this is why I never buy the best (longest guarantee) tires. Won’t be able to safely put sort of distance on them anyhow, so why pay for quality I won’t use?

Yup, since retiring I don't put as many miles on, thus I opted for the much cheaper Uniroyal option instead of Michelin. The weird thing is that Michelin owns Uniroyal.

It was 2C in Quesnel this morning. I have seen some deeper low pressures appearing on a couple model runs that would hit the South coast, but nothing consistent yet. These were Low pressures between 970-990.
