Summer is basically over then. Might be some nice pleasant days in September though.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Feels like summer is over. I've started putting blankets back on the bed and closing windows at night. Didn't seem to be much of summer or much of it to enjoy :(

Next stop winter! I hope it's EPIC!!! That would make up for this summer...and the past non-epic La Nina winter.

We're definitely due for a big one! The lower mainland (or at least YVR) likely has had the largest snowfall deficit across the Pacific Northwest lowlands over the past decade.

I'm just working on my firewood but think I have enough to get me through the winter, even an epic winter, so give me until the end of September then bring it on!!!

Any one know if it's supposed to be a wet winter?

Looks like a low solar/neutral-weak La Nina/-QBO combo. We'll see what it delivers. Epic cold? Epic snow? Windstorms? Atmospheric Rivers? Maybe a bit of everything? I'm all excited to find out. 8-) Probably lots of :14clown: :14clown: :14clown: too.
