I'll agree with you on that one. Too soon for the crops. But the interior desperately needs it. However it could just be one big rainfall that the models haven't nailed down the timing of yet.

If early September is fairly cool and wet, I'd expect the back half to be relatively warm and dry. We'll see I guess.

I guess we’ll see. Some signs of an Aleutian low during week 2. That usually means stronger west coast ridging unless the pattern is too progressive
