It seems we get precip then go into this lull.
I mean yes we had those sub 0c highs in the central valley. l was expecting more in the way of snow chances that never really materialized, l thought early on the models were showing a train of sliders l could be wrong.
Ya, it was a real letdown, even when it was within 5 days, it all fell apart. It was supposed be and awesome week full of snow chances. But the anus always wins.

I can’t be so glum. As of last evening, there has been snow on the ground IMBY for a week. Not bad for late November into early December.

And the overall pattern we are in is promising for more lowland snow later on. Hints of it are already starting to show up in the clown range.
It's called clown range for a reason.

That's all uplifting indeed Rubes but remember it could all turn into scary clowns those are El Neets approved for use in the lower mainland and fraser valley. :x

Very strong signal for arctic air with an ensemble mean like that. The GFS ensembles look similar. I've felt for a while that the odds of another white Christmas are higher than normal, and I'm starting to think my wish may be coming true. :D :flakey:

Looked at both the 12Z GEFS and EPS. We have a shot at a wintry Christmas. That's all we can ask for at this point. A shot. :flakey: :flakey: :flakey:

Back to back white Christmases would be great!

Experienced that in Portland in 2007 and 2008.
