It's a bit more complicated than that, but certain goods are subject to an access commitment, which means that in effect there are zero tariffs until imports exceed a set amount.

The access commitment doesn't apply to all things.. for example, steel and aluminum are still tariffed at the full 25%, as is American liquor (rum, whiskey, wine, cider, etc).

Trump says if we were the 51st state we wouldn't have to pay anything towards the golden dome. :wtf: l think it should be called the golden shower, :lol: l guess it's like Israels iron dome.
