Disappointing Canucks game tonight.

While the powerhouse Kraken scored 9 goals in their game :shock:

Two stunners in group D this morning! Tunisia 1:0 France and Australia 1:0 Denmark.

I think there have been more upsets this World Cup than any in recent memory.

Biggest upset was Mexico not making it to the round of 16. They had the second-longest active streak (after Brazil) of qualifying from the group stage.

It's a weird one for sure. Mexico are an amazingly consistent good team at the elite stage. Just never can progress past the round of 16. :lol:

Canada got unlucky with their group. Honestly this is probably the toughest group out there. The USA's was soft as butter.

Canada v Morocco tomorrow @7am. Canada was eliminated following the loss to Croatia on Saturday so the boys are playing for pride at this point.

Will be another extremely tough match as Morocco will be coming out all guns blazing as they want to top the group.

Despite being outclassed in that game against Croatia, history was made with Davies scoring Canada's first ever goal at the world cup. Next history-maker would be to get a result -- either a draw (1point) or a win (3points).
