At least we had a winter this year.
Coldest in Aggaziz as well. One day of missing data but the average temperature is still -0.3c. This ties Dec 2016 and Dec 1996. For February's only Feb 1936 (-0.4c), Feb 1933 (-0.4c), Feb 1922 (-0.4c) and Feb 1890 (-1.5c) were colder.
2019 ends the decade with two instances of months averaging below 0c. Charts shown are instances of months averaging below 0c and departures from 0c for those months.

Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!
I went home to the okanagan last night and to my surprise.... had to plow our way up the driveway. Our Neighbor was nice enough to clear it for us during the day, but it must have dumped another 3 inches since.
I would share some pictures, but I don’t know how.

I reached 8.3C today, which is the highest I've been since January 31st when I reached 9.0C.
My average high temperature in January was 8.7C, which seems crazy to me. My average high in February was just 3.0C, and the highest I got the entire month was 7.7C.
I had nine days with highs over 10C in January, but the last time I reached 10C was January 28th.
This is sure one of the quieter nights on the forum March came in so quietly compared to Feb. I guess we need a break but it was fun with all the action and things to track oh well I'm sure we'll be tracking something wet eventually again, in the mean time most likely our last shot of chilly weather coming in. Kamloops is now gusting to 30kmh with a dewpoint down to -12c from -7c Humidity went from 77% to 46%. temp. went from -4c to -2c so it's one of those where the temp rises a bit before falling off a Nito downsloping effect.

Cold February could be linked to climate change according to Kristy Gordon and climatologists. Thought she did a good summary of the current weather pattern , she starts speaking at about the 13:50 mark. https://globalnews.ca/video/rd/14509409 ... wsource=cl
