My goal is to ski from Silverstar to my front door. Might be a long day because it's 25 km. 90% downhill though.

Need a little more snow down in the valley bottoms first. Got 3cm last night at my place.

21 cm forecast for cypress with 2cm supposedly already fallen, I'm guessing above the base. 24 for manning coming over the next few days. 9 cm for biggie on Thursday eve, with the odd 1 cm here and there. At least well have a base for the holidays, but things are trending warm around then. Let's hope warm and dry over rainy at least?

My schedule the next few weeks... and yes, it includes skiing.
Tues - Fri @ BW
Christmas
26th - 30th @ BW
1-5th in Palm Spring and San Diego for wife's b-day
9th - 13th @ BW

I save 6 days of vacation for the end of Dec and take 6 days at the beginning but then I suffer from a lack of time off mid-year.

Why Gardom Lake of all places? The lake is frozen over by now. Lots of new snow up there is what I'm told.

Actually, I will stay just South of Gardom Lake. Why there? Because that's there I found a nice Airbnb to stay. ;)

As soon as I kick my renter out (well, she's a friend of ours, so really, it's when she decides to leave in a year or two) we will be turning our place into an AirBnB. There would, of course, be reduced rates for any BCStorms Forums members.

Nice read Gumps sad though about Lisa and Dave. I wonder if our forum buddy in the Pemberton valley knows these folks.
