We aren't even allowed chickens here.
This is why I want to go back to a rural zone.

Oh man..If you get the opportunity you should for that alone. Every morning I eat eggs that were laid in the previous 12 hours.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 8:07 am We aren't even allowed chickens here.![]()

Unfortunately this rural area along with most others will disappear in the coming years. Going to have to leave town if we want to continue this hobby farm lifestyle.

Here is the 1km resolution HRDPS depicton for Abbotsford. If you didn't know, spotwx introduced the model on the website a few days ago. This is the forecast issued at 4 pm yesterday. I'm not sure what time it gets updated. So a forecst of 22 cm.

Yep. When I used to live on near commercial there was a house that had them but clearly didn't know how to contain them. You'd see them wandering around the street and passersby trying to corral them (a near impossible task)Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 8:18 am Really? Wow. Most cities allow backyard hens. Question is does it knock on the door for 3 hours like normal.
Also Chris Doyle is pretty bullish, saying strong ascent in the DGZ (dendritic growth zone, the layer of the atmosphere where snowflake development is occurring):
