It looks like the PDO is trying its best to transition into a cold phase- I wonder how much effect increasing solar activity has?

Christmas stuff before late November is bad enough, before Halloween is just wrong on a fundamental level. I support the death penalty for such transgressions.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Sat Oct 09, 2021 12:43 pm I was in Costco yesterday and saw all their Christmas stuff out already. Soon it's going to be the 12 months of Christmas.
It's called clown range for a reason.

If the clouds don't move in, I think first frost on Tuesday morning is a lock. Freeze looks unlikely though.

Today I worked a little bit on the new server config. I got the vhost setup for where the forum will be and I almost have the vhost setup for the main site too which won’t take long.
If you modify your hosts file on your computer to point to the new ip with this subdomain you can test it already, but there’s only a simple HTML file there for now instead of the forum.

Yes those SSTs are a eeeeuge factor imo. It looks good this year..hence the cold troffy weather. Right Nito? Yesssss. Hopefully this pattern lock will continue for two months like it often does and we're all aware of. That should bring us snow in late November and early December. I will take that.
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

Welp another epic fail for EC. Calling for 10-15cms in Southern BC passses, and Zopkios looks like nada up until the 1600m - 1800m mark.
Based on the weather we got here yesterday, i thought for sure the Coq would be snowy. I guess the cold troffy air is keeping it loco, which is good for December i hope

I was up at manning park...a little disappointed the freezing levels didn't drop in time, we got a dusting this morning after it poured rain during the night.Hawk wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 7:34 am Welp another epic fail for EC. Re: October 2021 Forecasts and Discussion
The forecast snow for here tomorrow morning all but disappeared. Can't say I'm surprised but I am pretty disappointed. Especially with areas to the SE in the score zone.
Had an insane storm roll through here today with some insane gusts that moved my grill a few feet.

It always snows in December in the Kootenays
