Well, it seems like we're slipping into our typical dry summer pattern. Lots of brown grass starting to show up around town.
Since June 22nd there has only been 3.5 mm at YXX and 7.8 mm at my place.
Vancouver has been much wetter than the valley this month with 26.1 mm since June 22nd.
Wow, huge difference Abby sr. at YVR must be excellent growing for Weed101 crops.

You must have been in a rain shadow between western Metro and the central valley your usually close to my precip total.

My Rogers has been out all day and it's still out. Thankfully, our home internet is Telus so it's only my cell services that have been affected.
All back to normal by midnight Jr. man that was 22 hours without cell service and data, interact was down absolutely horrendous service,

Its very green in the Similkameens...even the FSR roads are dust free..very rare to have that happen from snowmelt, straight thru into July

Dab vinegar on the bites as soon as you can. Every few hours if possible..maybe 2-3 times in a day. The itch magically disappears

Tiger Balm does the job for me, just have to put it on once and the itch disappears. I'll try vinegar though if I'm out at a fast food joint.
Noseeums are out and worse than mosquitoes because they can fly right through a screen.

Yup...plus if you need reading goggles..you cant "seeum" until the pinch kicks in really good

It probably differs time of year and from year to year. Never really found it that bad for mosquitoes when fishing in the interior or Coquihalla area. Closest to your area probably Rampart Lake,don't remember it being too bad. My worst mosqitoe experience in BC probably whistler/Pemberton area , Joffre lake and Birkenhead lake many years ago. For outside the province visiting Edmonton has always been bad. But my worst experience might have been some campground in Ontario when travelling across Canada on the way back to Vancouver in the 70's. Just for one night but mosquitoes chased us outta there by 3am, we were happy to get back on the road with no sleep
