Holy sheets looks very convected that alone could produce very heavy local mountain snow.  the temperature @ the Christmas 🎄 pond is down to 6c with some showers in the area.

That system next Saturday could be one to watch for lowish snow levels around here.

Models haven't converged on a track yet... GEM has it to our west but the GFS and ECMWF keeps it to our south.

The current ocean temps in the central, equatorial pacific have cooled- this is usually good news for a colder signal. Similarly, the SOI 30 day average has the value at +14= anything above +7 is considered favourable for a La Nina. I don't know if this changes things or not.

The overall temperature of the oceans per that image I find highly unsettling. We may need those giant icecubes soon.

Yes. We are flirting with a complete ecosystem collapse in some areas of the oceans.

stuffradio wrote: Sat Dec 07, 2024 1:15 pm Hi everyone, I haven't been active much because two of my children have pneumonia and the youngest has a sickness that's more mild. I took my oldest who is turning 5 in two months to emergency a couple nights ago and they took a swab and chest x-ray and said he has RSV Bronchiolitis. My wife has also started feeling sick in the last couple of days so the doctor said he assumes she has the same thing. We have antibiotics for everyone so hopefully they will be recovering very soon!
I hope everyone is feeling better soon!

Fortunately we can ignore all these issues.
