It's a bird what do you expect for a proper measurement from a tree.

Same here, snow coming down hard, temperature rose to +0.2C now. Usually when the flakes change to larger size, the ending is not too far away. Sad to learn that Tsawwassen is raining and most likely we will be the next one shortly.

Weather Dude wrote: Sun Feb 26, 2023 12:49 am That’s the thing though, it isn’t a dud for all of South Delta. Ladner has 10 cm so far and moderate snow falling. It seems Tsawwassen really got shafted.
That’s wild! 5 minute drive away! I just went outside and there’s legit not a snowflake mixed in. What’s left is slush and puddles. Good luck to you all. I’m going to bed lol.

Yeah I see on the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal webcams the ground is bare and I can see green grass. What an odd little microclimate.

Windiest spot and warmest it's out on a thin jetty too with water on each side guess it makes a difference.

Definitely pretty crazy. Not often that Ladner and Tsawwassen differ like that.

I hope you score more than everyone else next time. I know from experience how frustrating it is to bust when higher elevations are scoring. Normally we’re right there with you in the suffering during these marginal events since we’re sea level too.

May end up with a foot here as the radar still shows a decent amount of snow to come. Whoa this is legit!

OK I had to run out and check. Currently 21cm in north side yard. Similar snowfall rate still as last few hours - moderate.
