Less memorable and warmer version comes to my mind from early December 2007. We had 53cm of snow which transitioned to 135mm of rain

It happened a few years later. We went from +12 to -12 in a couple of days. I went to Whistler and at the mountain it was -25c plus wind chill and conditions were icy. The best snow was found where the snow guns were going.

ECMWF locking into this, over 8" with 12" on the Mountains in the next week.

This is looking like another historic AR event over 4-5 days.

12+ inches of rain while landslides are STILL happening from last weeks rain....

We are going to be screwed for a while after this next bout of rain. Hopefully the BC government is better prepared this time around.

Oh and the ECMWF decides to show another warm rain pattern in the LR.

Wow this will def be a November to remember, completely saturating the Wetcoast. Record rains that followed record heat. Like a song from the 90's would suggest, November Rain? :| To complete the triple, we just need devastating winter snow and cold. Maybe it will show up again in the models in the next day or 2?

Happened once, can happen again, right?!? Can you imagine 10" of rain fell as snow instead? This is just the year for that to happen.
