Nice, B.C.'s best truck driver the best kind of snow roads not frozen just enough to enjoy on the drive. Kitsap County does well during outflow events down there apparently the cold air dams up along the west side of the peninsula there l remember hearing.Bc_trucker wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 9:23 am Greetings from Bremerton, WA. plus one degree Celsius, a good two to three inches of snow and transitioning to rain now

This morning was fun. Driving along 168 southbound just after Highway 10 flurries started, once up the hill into south surrey at 168 and 24th ave it was snowing pretty good and still windy. It continued for about an hour. All through this the temp was +4. So it never stuck to anything, it was just flying in the air. Cool to see still.

Definitely winter's last gasp Houndhead, after a chilly high of 6c it's currently 4c @ the pond in south Sardis there was a chilly NE outflow breeze in the central valley today it seems lighter now tonight at my work in Abbs down near Sumas.Hound wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 9:12 pm This morning was fun. Re: February 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Nope. -31 and clear this morning. Huge inversion this morning. -31 at Puntzi Mountain, but only -12 at the Williams lake airport. Same elevation and latitude. But Williams Lake is at the top of a mountain and Puntzi Mountain is a valley bottom.
Same at my place in the Okanagan. -12 at my place 150 above the valley bottom. But drive down the hill to the valley bottom and the temperature dropped 3 degrees.
Kelowna airport, same thing. 3 degrees colder than UBC0.
