By the way, thanks to Typer for the snow zone advice. It’s been nice to look up from my phone the past few days as I get near home and be struck by how much more snow there is here than Downtown.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Do you make this sh it up on a whim?wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 4:31 pm A snow lovers addiction to snow is like a thrill-seekers addiction to cocaine.
They bury their faces in the stuff.
Prefer the finer drier powder.
Stash massive piles in their driveway.
Develop paranoia about it becoming liquid.
Start developing OCD with weird tendencies like staring at streetlights at night.
Become angry when it gets taken away from them.
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

No problem! In more classic winters like this where we get a more persistent stretch of cooler/snowy weather, the difference within the city is extremely noticeable between downtown and just a few km inland and/or at higher elevation.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 6:00 pm By the way, thanks to Typer for the snow zone advice. How much more snow has Vancouver had than Halifax so far this season (I assume Vancouver has had more, given how torchy it has been back East).
It's called clown range for a reason.
