Looks like the Malahat is closed or they are checking for proper tires. Police car blocking the highway at the south end.

Usually just turn you around. Never heard of anyone getting a fine. They check for Tires and tread depth.

Slyts or John been around there shift is up next hard being a player/coach/goaltender without support from the measuring line.

Looking doubtful if the eastern Fraser valley mixes out the cold air until possibly Friday. Hope is going to get a lot of snow.

Not very impressive here so far, IMO. Light-moderate snow with small flakes. Measured 2.5cm.

-4.1c, dp -5.2c.

Looks like the latest HRRR shows about 5-8cm additional here before it warms up. Maybe 10cm storm total if I'm lucky.
