It’s a precipitation rate thing. You can tell it’s late February as the roads are pretty slushy. Temp has been 0.5 to 0.7C for all of the snow. We lose solar insolation pretty quickly after about 4pm, roads would probably cover over more quickly then.

Isn't it fun!!!
Really coming down here too!!! I didn't expect anything either with EC's 30% chance of flurries. It's not really sticking despite the rapid rate of precip, still too warm and all the bare surfaces are warm too. +1.6c

Not sure how it is looking in the town centre, but happy to see Tsawwassen getting in on this.

True!!!
Tyler Hamilton tweet: "More uncertainty than I'm comfortable with, but why not get detailed? Trust me: you wouldn't know the difference between a 5mm and 10 mm shower day, but 5 cm vs. 10 cm; snowfall highlights our errors with quantitative precipitation forecasting (QPF)."

Still snowing and not sticking on wet road but looking beautiful out there.  Love surprises.

2 cm so far. Still snowing, but pace seems to be slacking off a bit and radar agrees with this sentiment.
It's called clown range for a reason.
