Perhaps the last kick at the hump and ahalf heat dome Troast, that would definitely be heat warning criteria. Mosquitoes so far on the island have been moderate in abundance so far were still alive. :D today we took a trip over to Powell River on the ferry it's been years. Checked out the museum of forestry in Powell River. The weather was absolutely outstanding nice breeze off the water low 20's. Westview ferry terminal in Powell River foreground is Texada Island, Museum of forestry and last picture not sure a hawk and sardine fighting or a flamingo in the fray. :wtf: The marine cloud is more widespread tonight in the Comox valley, the radio station over here 97.3 The Eagle said 20c around 9p.m.

Roberts Creeker wrote: Thu Jul 14, 2022 12:55 am Lovely photo! That's impressive that the old homestead is still standing. My ex is from Saskatchewan and buildings last forever out there, not like out here. I guess because it's so dry and they don't rot. Hay just jumped another $50 - 75/ton this week up to $750 - $775. Yikes!!! I paid $500 - $600/ton last year. Anyone want to buy some sheep and a horse? Time to downsize.

Best wishes to your relatives, I hope they're feeling better soon.

May be time to migrate up a river, no red tide in freshwater.
Thanks, Ms. Nosummercreeks they prefer there own beds 🛌 so is the old saying the buildings stand longer than the ex. :shifty:  sorry l had too.

It was a beautiful evening for an outdoor double concert featuring Abba and Fleetwood Mac at 5 corners in White Rock. Huge crowd, mainly wrinkle rockers movin and a groovin with the odd youngster, but the youngsters knew all the words to every Abba song  . Incidently I saw no mosquitoes whatsoever.

Glad the weather turned out for the 2x concert. You should have told me who was playing..i would have loved to see both legendary 70's bands in person...wow..in W Rock? Did you go with the wife, or did you Go your own way?
Nice to see more clouds/showers in the forecast the next 3 days. Nothing major, but just enough to knock the temps down
Tell em Bono!!! :shh:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

We could certainly use the rain in the Abbotsford area. It's been quite dry the past three weeks. Looks like it's mostly going to miss us again.
