Ensemble means around that magic -7 mark where precip type starts to get interesting at sea level.

Already been there, done that. It’s helped, but it’s not perfect.

Best thing for me was getting out of the Willamette Valley. They grow 80 to 90 percent of the world's lawn grass seed, and three lawn grass species grown there rank on the list of the top 10 most allergenic pollens known.

Move to the Similkameenz. I heard that there are no allergens there... and it snows a lot. It's a magical place!

Even if it falls as snow at sea level, I believe that the surface will be too warm for any accumulation. So I can tell that this winter is over.
