Quite a snow storm up my hill last night. Boy those were some big juicy flakes which accumulated quickly. I’d say close to 15 cm but that’s just eyeballing with my ankles. It all came within maybe 3 or 4 hours so quite impressive.
It was a fun one but am ready for sun, warmth and daylight.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Ended up with 4.5cm before compaction did its thing. Fun little event for here. Kept the kids home from school to have some fun in the snow this morning.

I’m ready for some cold rain now.

I can see the headlines now. Black ice causes commute chaos as Lower Mainland drivers struggle even without snow on the roads.

Currently snowing?? Had about 10 mins of hail around 315 covered the ground. Changed to snow pelts if that’s a thing. Prob 2-3cms of it and still going.

One slightly cold day in an isolated pocket of the world, OR
A February warmer than any other recorded February, with an entire continent's (Europe) February being warmer than its warmest March?

Temp is dropping like a rock this evening. 0c here currently. High of 5.5c.
