Was found on Wednesday afternoon and was caused by the lightning on Monday nights thunderstorm. Still showing as out of control. Helicopters have been going non stop on it so hopefully shows as being held very soon.
Kool well not so Kool Miss Mills so they must have been picking up lake water then.?
However on Thursday morning l didn't see anything fly by and l was having my morning coffee on the deck outside l was staying in the McCombs Way/Alder St. neighbourhood if your familiar with the area. It's an awesome walk to the lake don't have to worry about paying for parking.
It's currently a chilly 19c and mostly cloudy @ the pond in south Sardis.

Still looking like some precip chances for late next week and possibly into the B.C. Day weekend. another short lived heat hump. The next couple of weeks up to the 12th should be prime time for the meteor showers.

Soon this nightmare will be over and the rains will return. :raindrip:

In all seriousness though, I’ve really enjoyed all of the pictures from around the province. Always look forward to Typing man’s annual road trip pictures. It really is a beautiful place to live.

Indeed Bones  however l've found my niche this summer hanging out in the community of Harrison lake, mind you weekends can be a clown 🤡 show but l avoid the lake then the neighborhood l'm staying in is beautiful and serine and on weekdays l walk to the lake it's quieter then. I'm loving the lake side eateries and coffee shops where l can enjoy a beverage and ppl watch. :D

Is this an analog for PNE weather? :) In other words, Mt Rainier is getting tons of tiny earthquake swarms that are causing some alarms.
