Back at the hotel grab a couple hours of sleep and start driving around 7 tomorrow should be back in the Wack around 10

Just absolutely dumping. And I don't usually get much outflow wind out here but this time I can see the odd light gust blowing the snow in sheets when I look at the streetlight. I'm not sure how much has fallen because I still had some snow depth left from the other day. I'll have to go out in the morning to measure what's on my car to get a decent idea. I can tell that the snow piles on the side of my driveway from shovelling are definitely piling up between what was already there and now.

Sardine Man- I'm with you...I'm surprised at the intensity of this arctic air. I admit I had my doubts about this even coming together. After it warmed up the other day and our snow started melting, I figured it was game over or whatever did fall next would be a very marginal event. But here I am at -5C and snow so this is a solid arctic intrusion.

I'm impressed! 2022 is off to a great start in the weather department!

I just got home from work in Abby and that was one Knarly drive. My vehicle was making new tracks thru drifts most of the way. Very poor visibility. I didn’t measure but at minimum 6”

O.k. thanks Slyts l did a drive similar to that back during the Jan 2020 event one morning promised my self l'd never do that again. l'd get a motel room ended up in the lane for Whatcom over pass east bound luckily followed some headlights that knew were they were going.
