Rain rapidly washing away the 2cm I had. Up to +2.3 with advection fog coming in...Indicates slight warmth mixing aloft.

NW winds look to ramp up soon.

Drove home from Abby to Surrey. Horrible driving through Langley. Probably 2-3Ã¢â‚¬Â there. 2Ã¢â‚¬Â on Cloverdale hilltop.

Been anticipating a transition back to rain for the past hour but the snow has really picked up once again.

Now up to 1.5cm here in east coquitlam.

Unless a surprise low forms in the straight, that probably is it unfortunately.

18z GFS shows a similar setup to today on January 1st. More cold air follows in behind the system and trough digs more SW which allows for a weak low to form off the island.
