We had 2 weeks of ridge with fog and heavy frost. The 2nd half of the month featured some small snowfalls around Christmas. That year the mountains had a lot of snow in November though.

Indeed. Potential for 150-250mm in the mountains north of the Fraser spanning the entire lower mainland from West Vancouver all the way east towards Hope from tomorrow morning thru late Sunday. Increases runnoff with the high snow levels.

How's the situation at Sumas lake, Hwy 1 still open? Not that I'll travel on it anytime soon.

As of Friday evening @ 8p.m. Grumps there's many spots where the water is only afew mm from over topping hiway 1 between West of Yale rd west and Whatcom rd l wouldn't be surprised if they shut er down again Saturday evening.
We need a very long stretch of dry day's and as we know that won't happen this time of year.

Well im hoping for the best for all people living in flood/landslide prone areas. This next 14 days looks to bring up to 4 more AR events, with 2 or 3 of this likely to be catastrophically significant..I really hope the models are wrong, and good thing the last 2 AR's are several days away so hopefully the models are #modelfail

I also should add that if Hwy3 gets pumbled with these AR's, i hope no further slides/washouts otherwise we will be completely shut down in our own little bubble for months
Expect prices to rise again , especially anything to do with transport. Oh wait, that includes everything
