This is so childish, if you truly had something to say I agree say it in person. Don’t be a keyboard warrior. We all are here to talk about weather if you’re here to throw insults find a different forum.

I don't think you should "say it in person" either. Nothing is worth the violence.

It's apparently been the winter from hell. Not extreme cold by any means but a persistant cold with no real thawing since late December.
215 cm won't happen in 15 days in Southern Ontario, but this shows how active the pattern is going to be. Just crazy. I'm supposed to fly back Thursday, and Toronto looks to be getting another good amount.

That is very true! It has been cold since December; it would warm up for a day, then get cold again. It has just been brutal out east.

In the wake of this cell the skies are clearing and everything wet and slushy is turning to ice. Dangerous in some areas on the roads

To make matters worse, it looks most likely that low the for Thursday/Friday tracks too far south for any snow up here. Dry gradual moderation to end this cold snap. :x

It really frustrates me that the Euro seems to have the same issue as the other models in that it initially has the cold diving into SWBC but then shifts it further east in subsequent runs. I know I shouldn't complain because this has been an impressive winter event but I really had a lot of confidence a few days ago that we would see another snowfall with the upcoming reload. So much for that idea. Lame run of the mill dry intrusion it is. :bang: :bang:
This is disappointing. I was looking forward to more snow.

Dusting here..mostly white with est. .2cms
Mostly clear now
Chance of flurries on Sunday as well so keep your eyes glued to the radar periodically and see what's bubbling up for us
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

At least the Knuckle heads are play decent takes my attention off looking for random flakes here in the central valley desert. It's currently -2.6c under mostly clear skies and light winds.

Fantastic celestial shot Ms. Starcreeks, one of my favorites in the winter sky is Orion's belt..It starts rising in the SE sky in late August near sunrise and by Dec, Jan, Feb it is at it's highest peak in the early evening.

Happened to pop awake, and there's actually a VERY light dusting of snow on bare surfaces and it's snowing VERY lightly here. It also snowed a trace yesterday, so actually the only day from Feb 1 without a trace of snow is the 7th.
2025-26 season stats:
Climo :cancel: ∞ to 0.5 :14clown: GFS

Season total: 0.5 cm and TWO traces!
Peak depth: 0.5 cm (01/07/2026)

cheer up Jr. This winter was late and lame for most. However, we may still get a last gasp by months end or so. No one really knows the LR, so dont worry about what the models are showing for 5-7 days out ++, good or bad, its usually :hmm:
