Similkameen cabin update at 5pm:
20" and counting..still snowing hard. :shock: :shock: EC calling for another 10-15cms tonight. :shock: :shock:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Snow sees to be tapering off. Just under 6 cm so far.
It's called clown range for a reason.

so, we hit a low of -0.8 around 10 am. Now it's +7 with a howling N.W. wind. Not the usual progression for sure....

Thought this event would be over long ago but the snow has not tapered off at all here in east coquitlam. Still coming down light/moderately.

Absolutely amazing - Larson Hill weather station has recorded 67cm of snow today, since 0600. I have never seen such a large amount of snow in one day, especially at that station - which normally gets far less snow that coq summit. Not sure if there's a reporting error there or not? The summit has received 53cm int he same time. And by looking at this photo, I cannot doubt those numbers

What? :shock: Slyty, extra bonus for measuring again. North side of Chilliwack always does better. I'm assuming John is north of Hwy. 1.

Snowed all afternoon here... getting close to 10 cm now I think. The models were pretty accurate for here.

Temp +0.2C and steady.
