Or not sticking to the pavement at all during the day like in late February 2014.
That was a frustrating snow event, with bare pavement for the first two days (Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd), despite constant light snow and accumulations of only 5cm on the grass. It only began sticking on the third and final day (Monday 24th) with about 15cm.
