Re: August 2025 Forecasts and Discussion
I heard splats of rain tonight. I was also driving in the rain earlier tonight. Crazy times we live in.

Have had some good impulses come through this morning. 17.3 mm so far.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: August 2025 Forecasts and Discussion
Been checking PWS’s on Wunderground and while this one is shaping up to be a decent producer for Metro Vancouver, the east side of the Island north of Nanaimo (i.e. where the Wesley Ridge Fire is burning) is only in the 1–2 mm range so far. Hopefully that area will score better later today.

Is there more coming? Looks like we're done here on the radar. Got about 25 mm.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 8:55 am Been checking PWS’s on Wunderground and while this one is shaping up to be a decent producer for Metro Vancouver, the east side of the Island north of Nanaimo (i.e. where the Wesley Ridge Fire is burning) is only in the 1–2 mm range so far. Re: August 2025 Forecasts and Discussion
Models have been consistent in saying there should be a good chance to score more in showers (and maybe thundershowers) this afternoon/evening. (The midday pause we are now seeing has also been a consistent feature in the models.)Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 10:06 am Is there more coming? Looks like we're done here on the radar.
