Hiked/scrambled to the summit of Mt. Seymour today. There was definitely some haze in the lower layers of the atmosphere.

Typer’s model data really makes it look like fall is coming. Which is why I did an alpine hike today. Gonna be snowy and socked in with clouds up there a lot soon.

Major flash flood hit Ottawa on August 10th, 2023. Many areas in the metro received 70-100+mm of rain in around 5hrs. Absolutely insane.

What happened to my week of sunshine??? I'm sure just yesterday EC was showing 5 days of sun with showers at the end of the forecast and so I made plans....after planning for a month of rain last week and getting a light shower, I'm now suffering fall weather whiplash.

Really looks like the fall pattern shift begins tomorrow. Or maybe I should say “completes,” because we are already out of our summer temperature regime, and it looks like tomorrow is when we will exit our summer precipitation regime.
