Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
I have a side project I'm setting up that I hope will get me some supplemental income on the side while trying to work on my main income. I setup an AWS Lightsail server and I have the domain pointing to it. The cost is $5 USD for the server and if I want a database which we would need for BCStorms, it would be an extra $15 USD/month. Should I setup a forum and create a sticky and say "If you want to contribute to this forum's maintenance, here's an e-transfer email" or something like that?

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
Nice day yesterday, I almost hit double digits with a high of 9.9C in Mission.
It's currently 8.2C with sunny breaks.
It seems like the sun has been more prominent than expected this week -- not that I am complaining.

I have no problem contributing. But before we buy in, why dont you start a topic to have people state how much they are willing to contribute annually. I think this will be easier for everyone to see how much in total is being contributed, plus adjustments are allowed. So for example, if 20 people say yes, they know they will each contribute say $10/month, etc. As opposed to only 4 people wanna contribute, then knowing that they would each need to contribute $50/month. Just my thoughtsstuffradio wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:32 am I have a side project I'm setting up that I hope will get me some supplemental income on the side while trying to work on my main income. Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
Sounds like a good idea. Currently it would be about $30 CAD/month for the server and database on AWS. That's maybe $360 annually.Hawk wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 12:34 pm I have no problem contributing. Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
l think spring or at least the beginning is here., even frost seems or feels like it may be hard to come by but l know we have a ways to go before frost free days, this winter everything is difficult to come by it seems.

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
In the summer sunny mornings it always seemed that my Mission location was 2c warmer than YXX especially in the morning hours like 9a.m. to noon. YXX would eventually catch up by early afternoon.
