Sort of agree. Maybe a little more sustained precip to start during the cooler part of the morning will give some extra slush.

Looking at the latest reports. Starting off as a bit of a rain spit then changing to snow. Looks like 3-6cm tomorrow of wet sloppy snow. Mixed precip later in afternoon then back to wet slop.

More towards the rain and 1-3cm for lower elevations and southern exposed areas like Sumas, Serpentine and Nicomekl flats, delta, new west, south Burnaby and yvr.

Typical score zones of Burquitlam, North Van, westview, east maple ridge, North Surrey, Mt Lehman, Aldergrove, Mission, South Chilliwack.

When was the last time we saw a major overrunning snow event that was followed by freezing rain and then heavy rain?

The last time I remember was December 2, 2007. During that event, 30cm of snow fell followed by freezing rain and eventually to heavy rain.

Temperature went from 0.1C to 15.2C in 24 hours. Even crazier, during the transition it went from 2.5C to 11C in 1 hour.
