Counting my measured snowfalls @ the pond in south Sardis 17 days. That doesn't included any days we saw snow that didn't stick, only received 1cm today and 0.5cm Friday.

Weather network shows a chance of mixed rain/snow tomorrow morning for a couple hours. Other than that there’s zero snowflakes on the 14 day forecast. Haven’t seen that since early-mid December. Their forecasts aren’t great but it’s at least cool to see hope for snow somewhere in the next 2 weeks. 😛

I could be wrong but I don’t think the AR this week will result in catastrophic flooding. It won’t be a super long duration event. And the snowpack will likely be able to absorb at least some of the rainfall from the start of the event.

I’ve had 16 so far this year. I had 4 last year total. Been a good stretch here. Hopefully one more blast of winter late Jan to get to over 100cm this season

Some signs of potential late January or early February. Also feels like we are due for a snowstorm in March one of these years. With the Niña going it could be this year. Definitely potential for this to be a really big snow season with a lot of places seeing big totals already and winter not even 1/2 over.

I'm thinking same thing. There is a lot of snow down low and that's probably good for absorbing at least 24 hours of rain. There won't be a lot of runoff the first day imo. Plus the AR could get rug pulled and move or weaken, like the last few warm fronts have done
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

FWIW, I've found temp records at this station are more in line with YVR, while precip records at the old Steveston station are more in line with YVR.
l think it was at the Winch bldg. where ever that was downtown.
