Halloween 1984 snow. Many locales on Eastern Vancouver Island had 20cm+.Hawk wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 6:13 am And once again, I will post that I remember an evening snowfall in M Ridge on Oct 30 I believe, around 1984, that dropped a chilly, fluffy, not wet, snowfall of around 2-3cm. Those huge type flakes from a troffy cell…snowed pretty good for an hour or two. Cloud bank enveloped the area that moved in from the north. Dewdney and 248 area for those that know that area. It was amazing

Because I live in South Sardis now, is Abbotsford or Hope a better station to use?

This one’s overperforming! 41.5 mm.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: September 2025 Forecasts and Discussions
EC was saying 30–40 mm this morning. I was skeptical, but in hindsight shouldn’t have been. I’ve now blown past the high end of the range and it’s still coming down.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: September 2025 Forecasts and Discussions
In Coquitlam/David Avenue:
3.5 mm/5 min
5.8 mm/10 min
7.8 mm/15 min
10.0 mm/30 min
11.5 mm/60 min
No record but noticeable. It was a very heavy rain in downtown PoCo.
Totals in Coquitlam so far are from 27 to 42 mm. Too bad that the City Centre gauge is out of order.
