so we have had a few anomalous cold episodes very early here. Hopefully this year we can get another repeat :shh:

I feel a widespread early snowfall is coming. Mid to late November. :silent: :wave:

Because I live in South Sardis now, is Abbotsford or Hope a better station to use?

EC was saying 30–40 mm this morning. I was skeptical, but in hindsight shouldn’t have been. I’ve now blown past the high end of the range and it’s still coming down.

5-10cm of snow across the region on October 27/28, 1919! :alert: :flakey:

Temps dropped to -7c in Chilliwack during that cold snap... :chilly:

In Coquitlam/David Avenue:

3.5 mm/5 min
5.8 mm/10 min
7.8 mm/15 min
10.0 mm/30 min
11.5 mm/60 min

No record but noticeable. It was a very heavy rain in downtown PoCo.

Totals in Coquitlam so far are from 27 to 42 mm. Too bad that the City Centre gauge is out of order.
