I wouldn't call it a rug pull yet. I think models are struggling with how far that second trough swings to the SW. It is hard to rely on any guidance that is dependent on low track outside of 72 hours. This could just as easily turn into something memorable as it could turn out to be a quick hitter. Either way, good times ahead.

Honestly, I think there is decent agreement between models in which 850temps dip to -10 or below before the 30th.

Why not concentrate on that for now. I think some of the crazy long term models runs are skewing peoples vision.

As Bono mentioned, the longer range is up in the air, but shows some fun possibilities still.
