That was the warmest Nov temp on record at YXX.

In terms of longevity though, I don't think anything comes close to the November 1949 heatwave.

Yep.

By average temp, the following January was the coldest on record for most locations.

Data is very spotty but it was likely the coldest month across the south coast in 75 years, since January 1875. Across the province, New Westminster is the only station available that existed in 1950 and goes far enough back to record 1875 as well.
