The sun set at 5:00 PM in Vancouver today. Until some time next autumn, it will be setting LATER THAN 5:00 PM each evening.

The RGEM shows 27 cm of snow followed by 27 mm of rain followed by 100 km/h wind gusts followed by a grand finale flash freeze. :clap: :wish:

-1.5c with freezing fog here. I was right at the boundary of the fog deck (could see a thick layer just a few m below my place across Lougheed Highway looking towards Poco and Pitt Meadows) for a bit earlier but it's back with a vengeance.

Continued clear skies in the central valley plus 1c @ the pond in south Sardis just a slight NE wind but dewpoint is -2c enough to keep the fog away.

That looks chilly for a couple day's if we get some moisture in here could see some flakes somewhere in the Lower mainland.

The 06Z GooFarSe is an absolute dullsville nothing exciting at all. :thumbdown: l don't even think early next week is anything to get excited over.
On the other hand not even a good run to build the snow pack unless this completely flips but somehow l dont see it happening. :thumbdown: :x
