Yup, I really do, no drama, happy endings, people are generally nice to each other, it's always snowing and there's Christmas trees...at least the ones I've seen, just started watching them this year and have seen about 6.

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
The Weather.com 10-day forecast for Bellingham has snowflakes towards the end of the range. Of course, that’s clown range. If the models are still sticking with that scenario on the 5th, then I’ll start getting excited.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
The maps probably don’t have resolution to pick up the surface winds in the narrow valley. That’s probably wind speeds at 2000-3000ft. Still incredibly strong.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 11:34 am Am I reading that map correctly? 91 kts in Hope? That's close to 170 km/h!

3 words that come to mind with hallmark , corny, cheesy and predictable...a bit like our weather. Having said that you would get along really well with my wife.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 11:40 am Yup, I really do, no drama, happy endings, people are generally nice to each other, it's always snowing and there's Christmas trees...at least the ones I've seen, just started watching them this year and have seen about 6.

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Gusts up to 100km/hr for sure. The worst will come with a severe band of squalls. The convection charts will be crazy. High based t-storms driven by a sharp contrast in temps above 700mb.
Friday is looking epic.

Re: December 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Call me old but in my experience take what the models are saying reduce by half or two thirds is the most likely outcome. Would be fun if it verified though.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 1:53 pm Gusts up to 100km/hr for sure. The worst will come with a severe band of squalls. The convection charts will be crazy.
