It's a end of summer mini me heat hump then dump the next 4 days, 25c Sunday 26c Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in central valley. :clap: :thumbup: the shorts day's continue.

Got up to 26c today @ the pond in south Sardis what a fantastic shorts and tee day in the central valley. :thumbup:
Well with things opening up again the late night comedy act featuring Skipper Grumps makes a rude return this winter get your tickets early even though we don't have any. :wtf: here's a clip.
I went to a weather forum the other day and a storm broke out. :lol: :roll:

The torchy spells are now below 30ËšC, so at least there is that.

Went out looking for mushrooms near Stave Lake yesterday. Saw virtually none of any kind, even though the forest floor was not totally dry. Either it’s too early, or it’s going to be a dud season, or both. (And yes, I have found chanterelles in September before, many times.)
It's called clown range for a reason.

^ Yup, YVR is dubious. The ECCC station is more accurate right now and significantly different from the Nav Canada station.

Yesterday was the first freeze of the year for Smithers, Merritt, Williams Lake, and Sparwood. Note that Williams Lake airport is about 1000ft above the lake, so likely warmer in the valley (though Merritt is the same elevation as the Williams Lake valley bottom so who knows... no, wait, my relatives there tell me that the low was 1.7 downtown).

GFS/GEFS and GEM/GEPS are showing signs of rain at 20-40mm between now and beginning of October.
