We hit a small snow storm around 70 mile house coming south. Slush on the road caused an accident which close the road at Chasm so we did a u-turn and took a back road to Bridge Lake, hooked onto Highway 24 and down to Little Fort, and then highway 5 to Kamloops.

It's amazing how much snow there is on that Highway 24. Will Highway 24 hours bare but on the side of the road. Even down into little fort which is 400 m elevation there is still snow. Up in the Chilcotin there's no snow left below 900m elevation.

Crystal Lake near Bridge Lake (around 1100m elevation I think).

PS. Here is Tatlayoko Lake at 850m elevation in the Chilcotin. Picture taken on Wednesday.

Looking at the forecast the next 2 days and seeing flurries mentioned again, and possible lows of -1. Really annoying. Why can't we get this in January? It's April for F sakes can we get some sun and +15 weather? tired of the gloom and chilly temps and clouds. Spring please! Watch what will happen... it will be chilly until one day it will turn on a dime, and it will be TOO hot, and jump from 10 to 24 in one day and everyone will struggle because the temp change will be too sharp thus shocking the system. Man the west coast is annoying.

Throw it out. Trust me, it won't happen.

34 years and counting with zero measurable snow IMBY in March or April says so.

Please do not move to the Similkameen region.
Its actually pretty nice up there for snow. As most of you may be aware, lol, it snows many, many days in the Similkameeeenz
But it can get really cold too in winter :shh: Like i'm talking H-25c and L-35c is common. Just saying..maybe visit..but i wouldnt recommend moving there full time unless your name starts with Bono
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Ended up with a slushy cm or two of snow Sunday am.

Snow in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Feb, March and April.

Ready for some warm spring days though. Why can't we save these patterns for deep Winter. What's going on Neetz?

I have had snow in March and April in Maple Ridge. I've had 1+ feet in March and 1-2 inches in April.

East MR seems to score often in late season marginal events. I lived there for a few years wayyyy back and it happened a few times. I remember once wayyy back April 5 i think and 2" of nice fluffy snow one day. Another time around March 18 and around 8" of the same kinda snow.
