That being said, it does look like there is some potential for something in December.
There's simply no reason to get excited unless the standard Euro or the Euro AIFS is on board. It's very rare for the GFS and GEM to win as an outlier.

Well Tuesday's flurries have turned to +3c rain BUT there's a 60% chance of flurries (or rain) on Friday!

Just like the Rick Mercer skit, it's always at the end of the forecast keeping hope alive.

:alert: :alert:
06gfs is dry wow. Nito was right all along. Goose will be very unhappy. The local mountains will suffer, as will the Interior snowpack. Again. The Similks will drought out again it seems. Yes, wells are dry buttees, sadly. Unless the back end of winter delivers, the Similks water supply is in trouble again
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

models are struggling past 5 days, so no one is winning yet.
The King GFS was first to show the colder solutions, so as usual, we will see what happens in the days ahead

EC say chilly and wet the next few days followed by drier and even chillier by Friday :shh:
The local Mtns will score something at least, finally

Same story as last year. Very strong Hudson/Baffin vortex is developing which is going to keep the extreme cold in the East.

Some snow today and Wednesday up there but it mostly washes away Thursday before it dries out. Looks like another dismal start for the local ski hills is on tap.

Happy winters eve!

I was not expecting this but seems to be some chunky sleety showers falling up on bby mountain right now. :flakey: :raindrip:
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Yeah, once again. I don’t see any improvement in the next few days. The models were wrong, one more time.

Well first snow of the season is probably pushing it but I guess first flake sighting counts for a participation ribbon perhaps.
