I see. Thanks for that nitowetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 6:20 am Trajectory of AR is going to favour more precip for the North Shore and Howe Sound areas. Unfortunately the GFS runs have upped totals for alpine areas...up to 350mm.

Yellow rain warning here for today through Wednesday
100-150 mm.
Wouldn’t it be epic if it fell as snow 40-60 inches!

Re: March 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
and what if the maps showing all this precip, are similar to the same maps showing major snows, that never happen...
We will see what the numbers are by next weekend. Im sure some areas will be hit harder, but most areas just run of the mill rains imo

One more shot of snow tonight. May briefly accumulate over 150m. SFU could see 5cm.

Wow! That is a lot of rain...and endless rain. I don't think I've ever seen a continuous hours of rainfall map before.

A few new cm in the last couple of hours. 3rd time this week of accumulating snow up here. Doesn't come close to saving winter but not bad by March standards.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..
Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Re: March 2026 Forecasts and Discussions
First measurable snowfall worth a damn. Should reach 4-5cm before the transition to rain.
