The Ops are usually too quick on a pattern change. We'll see. Either way later this week is going to suck. Typical heatwave or not, they all suck.

I guess it depends on what your definition of scorching hot is. Anything over 25c for me is garbage.

I think it will be more intense then a typical heat wave but less intense then the June event. Heat warnings will likely be issued Monday or Tuesday.

They also struggle with the details. It will be interesting how hot the HRDPS, RGEM, and HRRR shows for our region.
