The Daily Hoax have outdone themselves on misleading sensationalist crap again. This time they even failed basic reading comprehension. Impressive even by their standards, really.

Precip off the west coast of Vancouver Island heavier precip rates the blue is snow. :eek: The current temp is plus 2c @ the pond in south Sardis this morning.

Wake up..could be the biggest snow event of the season incoming!! :roll: :roll:
Lets see the latest HRRR etc maps please.
WP said the snows are coming today. Catnip Hill will score like usual..maybe 5cms? Maybe more? :shock:
Sure will look nice. I wonder who the big winner(s) will be today :think:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

It's over before it starts any chance of speeding up the higher sun angles to get to spring sooner. :(

Don't use 10:1 ratio maps - use Kuchera. During borderline cases, the snow ratio will be much less, so 10:1 maps show misleadingly high totals.

It's almost better to use the snow depth maps because those factor in the rain mixing in that will also eat away at totals.

Dewpoints are too high to support snow to sea level we better get some heavy precipitation to create diabolic cooling or we our SOL my best guess is we get pineapples mixing in.
The only snowflakes Abby will see are the Christmas decoration snowflakes hanging off the street lamps on South Fraserway. :lol: :x :(
