Not +12˚C? Disappointing!wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 8:42 pm The steady onshore wind is preventing surface temps from really dropping hence why these snow showers are not accumulating much at the onset. I wonder if the models are catching onto this. Temps could reach +3C and +4C tomorrow so you are going to be in tough to hold onto much accumulation during the day.

It would be really fun to sit back and watch the ensuing drama if he ever posted regularly on the AF.

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
Weird John the readings definitely support Arctic front passage but how can it go through Lytton before Kamloops.?

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
Either way, he was wrong last night about bursts of snow along the maritime arctic front boundary; he was wrong about the sudden drop in temperature on the island, behind the front and now the arctic air arrives Monday instead of tomorrow afternoon. Yeah, I don't like our chances on the east island. This has been a cock up!SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 9:02 pm His bottom post was from this morning top one is new.

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
Ask Neetzz Jr. Man he'll say 925mb temps are plus 1c to warm for snow.

Temps did drop about 5c in a couple hours yesterday evening following the passage of the cold front.Michael1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 9:22 pm Either way, he was wrong last night about bursts of snow along the maritime arctic front boundary; he was wrong about the sudden drop in temperature on the island, behind the front and now the arctic air arrives Monday instead of tomorrow afternoon.
